An amazing natural paradise, the culmination of the Sierra de Tramuntana ... That's Cala Figuera in Formentor, only half an hour drive from La Goleta Hotel de Mar in Port de Pollença. World Heritage by UNESCO in the category of Cultural Landscape, the Sierra de Tramuntana is a natural and human balance that offers exquisite entries to the sea. Between the walls of mountain it's located the small virgin cove, it has white sand, pebbles and rocks washed by a turquoise sea. Just the road is already a show of beauty, a full immersion in the Majorcan nature. The path to follow is simply taking the Ma-2210, the road linking the Port de Pollença to Formentor lighthouse. At the 10 km drive, just after the turning indicating Cala Murta, we must turn left to reach an open space that allows us to leave the car. Access to the cove is easy, but better wear comfortable shoes for the road that descends to it. They are about 15 minutes from the parking and all is well signposted. And so, wrapped in the most authentic and indigenous nature, we’ve arrived at our destination...enjoy! But that's not all, as you approached drive up here, you could use the trip to visit the lookout located on the road. The nearest is Es Colomer views that will leave you speechless. A wonderful memory difficult to forget.
