These are the pleasures that we wish to offer you during your stay at our boutique hotel in Puerto Pollensa (Mallorca) – a concept that we’ve re-styled for our “seaside hotel”. The Mediterranean’s structured into our DNA: it’s what inspires us and marks the essence of what we are, through our way of living and feeling, our sense of hospitality, and our way of looking after our visitors.
We want to go back to those light-filled years when every journey was an opportunity to learn and show respect for our surroundings, a way of experiencing and understanding other folk and cultures; years when we chatted the summer evenings away over a glass of home-made lemonade, as schooners sailed into harbour laden with fine wares, and the first ’planes flew over Puerto Pollensa.
There are times when one needs to sit quietly, breathing in the sea air and enjoying life, not even thinking of looking at the time. We come from a tradition where people would take you into their homes and offer you whatever they had, expecting nothing in return except the knowledge that you were going to feel good.
This same spirit has guided the rebuilding of our boutique hotel in Puerto Pollensa, our re-vamped Hotel de Mar (Seaside Hotel). Our aim has been to revive the dream of our father and grandfather, Juan Cerdà, in a different age from when he grew up.
Today La Goleta - Hotel de Mar is a reality: a boutique hotel in Mallorca, close to the beach and beside the sea, that will take you back to a time when there was no limit to what one could imagine and do.
We believe that, of all the boutique hotels in Mallorca, this one will make you feel most at home.
